You probably didn’t even know you were actually reading a blog. Barring you don’t have a extensive database web initiative, your business or brand shouldn’t really be doing anything outside of putting all your eggs in one basket with a WordPress site.  I’ve been using Joomla! for over 2 years now and from what I”ve seen, I can achieve far more success in rankings and efficiency with WP than J! in just 4 months time.  Now I”m not knocking Joomla! at all.  I still use it and some things I use on Joomla! can’t yet be done inside WP.

So this is what I say, install your core site as a WP site, then create  a new sub-directory for your Joomla! design and you can work back and forth with two uniquely different designs, making the end user delighted to have such a unique visual and informative experience.

One should never be without a good camera in their daily ventures.  Stock pile photos every chance you get.  I’m not disciplined and I should be taking more photos.  Anything and everything is worthwhile.

The flyer was created from existing graphics and uploaded to the ecampaignpro.com website. I utilized the design and layout with my html editor and created links for the intended recipients to contact the company. One way to make sure your content is not being ripped off is to visit Copyscape. This is a fabulous site to see if you haven’t been part of  plagiarism.  Search engines don’t like it when that happens and neither would you if someone took your story.

I use Joomla! and found a module that protects against right click copy and it works fine against people pulling your content.  Sure you could go into the source code to get it, but by the  time you eliminate the code, you could have just written it yourself.

A recent conversation with a friend of mine was about over hauling his existing site for his company. He surprised me when he said he didn’t need the site to be search engine friendly, he wanted the site user friendly. Now I know that unless you have a dedicated fan base of visitors and you’re on auto pilot for traffic, you have to realize you can’t get one without the other. Site abandonment means less time on your site and off they go, and of course, if they can’t find you in the top rankings then they won’t visit you at all.

You can’t be in this business as a web designer and SEO specialist without building and optimizing a site to achieve success in both of these categories. Even a top viral video has to have some meta behind it to be found when a search begins.

When you think about it, today’s possibilities to promote or advertise yourself didn’t exist 10  years ago.  You can virtually propel yourself into rock star status if you’re clever enough to go viral in your marketing efforts.  YouTube and numerous video portals exist for your own self-achievement.  If you’ve always wanted to succeed, whats holding you back?
