One way to make sure your content is not being ripped off is to visit Copyscape. This is a fabulous site to see if you haven’t been part of  plagiarism.  Search engines don’t like it when that happens and neither would you if someone took your story.

I use Joomla! and found a module that protects against right click copy and it works fine against people pulling your content.  Sure you could go into the source code to get it, but by the  time you eliminate the code, you could have just written it yourself.
